Paul Marciano believes that for one to succeed in life, they have to be governed by the whims of their hearts. In 1952 Paul Marciano was born in Debdou in Morocco and brought up in France. Paul Marciano was brought up along other siblings born to his parents. The siblings are Jacqueline, Maurice, Armand, and Georges. It is true to say that Paul Marciano was born in a family of rabbis since his father, great-grandfather, and grandfather were all rabbis. Paul Marciano began facing challenges right from his childhood. One of the challenges that Paul faced was at age fifteen when he was injured in an accident that nearly took away his ability ever to walk again. He stayed in a wheelchair for seven months and later regained his ability to walk after one and half years. Due to being away from school for a long time, he was not re-accepted to school.
The last thing Paul Marciano could allow is challenges weighing him down. As young as 17 years, the enthusiastic Paul Marciano, sort a job in a club and took up a weekend job as a jean seller. During this period, he began working with his brother Georges. Paul Marciano would sell out ties that Georges, who was a designer, designed. Apart from designing ties, they also designed blouses for women. In the year 1973, they opened a store.
The two brothers did not run their businesses without challenges. One of the challenges they faced is having a tax dispute with the French authorities. This made the two brothers move to America and opened two stores. They named their company Guess and managed to make $6m within a year. Of the three brothers, Paul Marciano was the most fluent in English, and thus managed to advertise the company in the right way. Paul Marciano has two wives. The first wife Kymberly was a photographer and a model and had two children. In 2016 he married Mareva, a French model.
